I am a Peruvian pollination ecologist and a Kew Research Fellow. My research is related to the role of floral traits, especially floral scent, in pollination success. I have been especially interested in understanding how pollinators and plants depend on each other and how floral cues are mediating these associations. My current research is focused on relating floral trait evolution with plant diversification in two predominantly animal-pollinated plant families, Gesneriaceae and Orchidaceae
